Overall 50K: Cash Prizes for 50K race for Men’s and Women’s race.

  • 1st – $2000
  • 2nd – $1000

50K Prime:  

  • 1st – $100 cash – 1st Male and Female to reach aid 1, who then goes on to finish the race

Overall 50K: Handmade Oak Plaques made by top Ultimate Direction Golden Gate Dirty 30 finisher Dan Gorman to 1st  place Male and Female finishers in 50K

50K Lowlander: (live and at least 80% of your time below 2,000 feet elevation)

Overall 12M: Cash Prizes for 12 Mile Race for Men’s and Women’s race:

Overall 12 M:  Handmade Oak Plaques will be awarded to the 1st male and female of the 12 mile race.

Age Groups: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, male and female prizes will be awarded in both races for the following age categories:

  • 19 and Under
  • 20 – 29
  • 30 – 39
  • 40 – 49
  • 50 – 59
  • 60 and up

Awards Ceremony: You MUST be at the ceremony to receive your award! Awards will not be mailed or given out early. Please support your fellow runners and our sponsors by attending the awards ceremony. It will begin at 3:30 pm so that runners from both races may come together, celebrate and honor great accomplishments! Plan to stick around for the post-race party. Mingle with the ELITE Runners and your friends, dance, hula hoop, soak in the mountain stream, get a massage, listen to the music.  This is a party not to miss!!!

360 Club: 50km racers finishing in under 360 minutes (6 hours) will be inducted into this special society and awarded the much coveted 360 Club hat! Click here to see 360 Club inductees!  Racers who finish in more than one category will be allowed to choose which hat they receive ( SISU, Lowlander, or 360 club).

SISU Award: 50km racers who have never run any other ultra marathon races before and finish in 10 hours or less will be awarded the SISU Award.  Click here to learn more about the SISU Award.  Racers who finish in more than one category will be allowed to choose which hat they receive ( SISU, Lowlander, or 360 club).

Lowlander: 50km racers who live and spend more than 80% of their time below 2,000 feet will be entered into the Lowlander category.  You will be awarded with the Lowlander Dirty 30 hat after you cross the finish line in 10 hours or less.  Top Male and Top Female Lowlander will win $100 cash.  Racers who finish in more than one category will be allowed to choose which hat they receive ( SISU, Lowlander, or 360 club).

Old Goat Award:  Let’s face it, accomplishing the Dirty 30 at 30 is quite the amazing accomplishment. . . to double that age and finish it is deserving of extra special recognition.  Those 60 and older will have 11 1/2 hours to finish and will be awarded the Special Old Goat Award.  Must start with the 6 am wave and be off the course by 5:30 pm.

Bloodiest Finisher:  Keep your eyes ahead and pick up your feet.  Stay alert!  We want you all to finish injury free!  In the event you take a digger bring your bloody self and your dramatic story to the awards ceremony to share.  The one with most blood . . . or the best story will will $100 cash.  The crowd picks the winner.

Traveled the Furthest:  If you think you traveled the furthest specifically to race in the Ultimate Direction Golden Gate Dirty 30, come to the awards ceremony and tell us where you are from.  You could win $100 cash.
