6:30 - 7:00 a.m
Meet at the Horseshoe Trailhead Parking Lot in Golden Gate Canyon State Park. Most cars will park here and at the Black Bear (just beyond the Visitor Center). A few cars will shuttle all the runners to the Nott Creek/Start line area.
Park Pass
To avoid getting a ticket, you will need either an annual or day State Parks Pass. Bring $8 cash to purchase a day pass. You can pick up a day pass at the visitor center on the corner of Crawford Gulch Rd and Hwy 46 which is just before the Horseshoe Trailhead.
We will leave most cars here and carpool with a couple of cars to the start/finish line at the Nott Creek overflow parking lot about 3 miles further on Crawford Gulch Rd.
Arrive early to get geared up. We will head to Nott Creek at 7:00 a.m.
The course will not be marked
All attending must bring the course map and the written course description with you, so you may find your way if you get separated from the group. There is no way to guarantee everyone will stick together. There are 70 junctions on the 50K course. The race director, Megan will be at the back of the pack keeping everyone who waits on course. GPX file of the course can be downloaded from the Course Details Page. Please carpool if you can.
