“I just want to send a huge THANK YOU for an awesome race. This was my first Ultra and what a great way to start me on my Ultra running path. You and all the volunteers did an amazing job to make this such a special event. I will definitely be back next year!
I am so happy to have chosen the Dirty 30 as my first Ultra and already looking forward to next year’s event. And, maybe I’ll tack on the Silverton race.
Again, Thank You for all your hard work and commitment to making this such a memorable experience.”

Golden Gate Dirty 30
You will LOVE this trail run! Meandering single-track through groves of aspen, green meadows, and thick pine forests. Rocky ridges provide majestic views of snow-capped mountains. Golden Gate State Park shows off the BEST Colorado has to offer!
Due to permit restrictions spectators are not allowed and all racers must carpool or shuttle to this race. Racers may not be dropped off.
Plan to stick around for one of the best post-race parties around. In addition to a great meal, beer, band, massage, expo, mountain stream soak, and energetic awards ceremony it is fun to support other runners and to connect with kindred spirits.

Due to Colorado's Golden Gate Canyon State Park park manager's decision to institute park rules they waived for the last 14 years and their increasing restrictions, I am closing the doors on Dirty 30. These rules include:
- We can no longer have a few people sleep in their cars at the Red Barn to guard our equipment, supplies, and merchandise the night before the race, despite renting the Red Barn for 2 days.
- No longer allowed to park cars along Nott Creek Rd.
- The permitted number of entrants decreased by 50%.
- No spectators allowed.
